ELKHART, IN – With the recent unveiling of the MasterCraft 2025 boat models, Klipsch is announcing its enhanced 2.0 system, giving audio enthusiasts a world-class concert experience onboard the most award-winning tow boats.
“MasterCraft is dedicated to delivering the highest level of performance and innovation on the water, and our partnership with Klipsch elevates this commitment even further,” said Greg Miller, VP of Global Sales at MasterCraft. “With our 2025 lineup, we’re excited to offer premium Klipsch audio systems that provide enhanced sound quality for an unrivaled on-water audio experience. This collaboration embodies our pursuit of excellence and our dedication to help our customers create unforgettable moments on a MasterCraft.”
With a legacy of innovation and excellence, Klipsch continues to push the boundaries of audio technology with the next generation of continuous improvement, delivering premium sound solutions for various applications. The partnership with MasterCraft in the Model Year 2025 boats represents a further step in Klipsch’s commitment to providing top-tier audio experiences, both on land and water.
Every MasterCraft boat is custom installed with standard or premium Klipsch marine audio systems. The NXT series has 7” speakers in the cockpit, while the XT and X models feature 8.5” speakers. Optional dual 10” subwoofers, an extra amplifier, and two or four 8.5” tower speakers complete the system.
Klipsch redesigned the speakers and subwoofers in Klipsch 2.0 with new speaker basket tooling, giving a serious boost in power. Every speaker in the boat packs over 90W of power that has been fine-tuned based on its placement in the cockpit. A new tweeter and crossover help smooth out the transition across the entire range, removing any peaks and valleys. The result is a studio-like sound that preserves the classic Klipsch horn signature efficiency. Klipsch bridged the redesign to make the installation easier and require less parts while eliminating external wiring, which results in easier installation and cost savings.
Klipsch also supercharged the processing power behind the patented DPS Core technology, moving from a six-channel to a 12-channel design that allows the speakers and subwoofers to deliver unmatched performance and sound. As boaters adjust the volume, the adaptive DSP controls the sound curves according to listeners’ natural sensitivity to different frequencies. The revamped DSP expands the audio listening area, a first for MasterCraft boats. Regardless of the volume, boaters will experience a consistent, rich, and balanced sound quality with 30% more power.
Klipsch will host Surf and Sound Demos at the International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition & Conference (IBEX). Joining Klipsch at IBEX will be world champion wake surfer Jett Lambert. Known for his exceptional skills on the water, Lambert will shred the perfect wave, created by Mastercraft’s SurfStar system, as guests experience an unparalleled audio adventure.
“The Klipsch 2.0 system is insane,” said Lambert. “I’m blessed to shred on the water with the best boat and audio in the industry.”
